Bevelling has become a speciality at Irvon, and we have worked for years to improve and perfect our techniques. There’s no need to use costly machining or time-consuming and archaic grinding when bevel-headed cutting machines are available. We offer all common weld preps on rolled cans or pressed sections up to 12.5m long and all common tube-joint cuts, done flat or as tubes.
Laser-cut preps, in particular, will be particularly accurate and can be used in place of machining in most cases. We can also maintatin very high accuracy on very long weld preps. For example, for pressed sections, 45° preps can be cut onto 4mm thick steel over the full machine length of 12m – even the plates have trouble staying flat for that long!

- Flatbed size is 12000 x 3000mm
- Preps on tubes 80 – 2650mm diameter, with plasma and flame bevel cutting available up to 100mm thick

- Offshore tube joints available for joining tubes at shallow angles. Butt weld joints transitioning to fillets welds when going around the circumference
