Pipe & Tube Profiling

Tubes, vessels and pipe cut to traditional joints or custom designs. Accommodating for large diameters, thick walls and raw material up to 14m long

The largest tube and pipe profiling service in the UK offers new options to domestic customers and Europe. With a huge range from 80mm – 2650mm diameter and up to 100mm wall thickness. Irvon offer time and cost saving alternatives to companies producing fabricated pipework and vessels. Standard size Carbon, Stainless and Duplex tube can be cut and shaped. However, for non-standard sizes or requirements in special grades, we are able to roll and weld from plate stock.

Our precision CNC cutting head is able to cut with plasma and flame to handle different materials, thicknesses and cut angles, which vary around a single cut edge. As standard, we offer all common tube joints with variable angles cuts to maintain constant inclusive angle for welding, helping to maintain consistent heat input and minimising distortion. Our machine is also able to cut edges to custom designs for welds to customers’ qualified procedures. For shallow joint angles, we offer offshore joints such as those AWS D1.1, to aid welding with fillet welds that transition to butt joints.

The tube profiler fits seamlessly with advanced submerged arc welding equipment and the UK’s biggest plate rolling facility, with all services under one roof. All industry standard joints are offered, as well as special joints imported directly from SolidWorks, Inventor or other 3D models.
