Our advanced CNC plasma cutting machine, equipped with its bevel head, is able to cut parts up to 12m x 3m in size and up to 70mm thick. The high-powered hi-def technology is suitable for carbon steel, and stainless steel to good accuracy and edge quality. The stainless cuts also have a gold edge, unlike the old-fashioned black edges, containing far less oxidation and can be ready for welding with only a quick finish.
Having a bevel cutting torch we are able to cut both topside and underside chamfers even around contours, a quick and accurate method of applying weld preps etc. saving customers time and money on expensive machining. The geometry of the torch can also produce variable chamfers to accommodate complex designs and our patented special plate development and bevel cutting can allow for tube joints and holes to be cut with weld preps while flat that form to the correct geometry when rolled afterwards.
There is also facility to etch part numbers, assembly marks and locations and traceability data directly onto parts when cutting, efficiently managing quality throughout production. Spot marks, in particular, are indented in a cone shape and replace centerpunching for drilling operations.
